萌典 moedict is a browser add-on for Chrome that allows users to easily view Chinese definitions while browsing. Have you ever come across unfamiliar Chinese characters and wanted to know their meanings, pronunciations, or other information? With 萌典 moedict, you can simply select a word or phrase with your mouse and instantly access its definitions and pronunciations.

This add-on works by double-clicking or highlighting any word on a webpage, which triggers a pop-up displaying the search results from the 萌典 moedict website. The search results include detailed explanations and are linked to the corresponding dictionary entries on the website for further exploration. To close the search results box, simply click anywhere outside of it.

The 萌典 moedict website integrates various dictionaries, such as the Ministry of Education's "Revised Dictionary of Standard Chinese," "Taiwanese Hokkien Common Words Dictionary," and "Taiwanese Hakka Common Words Dictionary." It provides a convenient way to look up the meanings and interpretations of Chinese, Taiwanese, and Hakka words.
