MeldHerstel is a free Android app developed by Woweb B.V. It falls under the Social & Communication category and aims to improve the cleanliness and safety of public spaces in Nijmegen.

With MeldHerstel, you can easily report issues such as loose paving tiles, litter, broken streetlights, and clogged sewer drains. The app allows you to take or select photos of the problem, even in low light conditions thanks to GPS location tracking. You can then choose the appropriate category for your report and provide a detailed description of the issue. Once ready, you can submit the report or save it for later.

One of the key improvements in MeldHerstel is the ability to add up to three photos to a single report. Additionally, you can also include existing photos from your device. The app offers the convenience of changing the location of the report by searching for street names, house numbers, or postal codes. You can also keep track of all your reports, including their current status, in a dedicated section of the app. Furthermore, you have the option to receive push notifications when your report is resolved by the municipality of Nijmegen.

MeldHerstel is the successor to the BelHerstel app and not only simplifies the reporting process but also keeps you informed about the progress of your reports. It provides a user-friendly solution for citizens to actively participate in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of their city.
