Meet Transcript is a free add-on for Google Meet. It's a fully customizable app that lets you record your Google Meet meetings or conversations, chat messages, and screenshots in your Google Drive account.

Record a meeting

You can choose between two meeting modes.

Live: Record the entire meeting, including a real-time caption of each slide in the presentation. Captions appear on the screen when you hold your device in a particular direction.

Edit: Choose to record the meeting only from your device. It'll save the recording to your Google Drive, which you can access on any device.

Once you're finished recording, you can click the "Save to Google Drive" button to save the meeting, recordings, and text messages.

You'll find the recording in the Google Drive, where you can view and edit it or download it for offline playback.

Record chat messages and screenshots

If you want to keep track of everything that's said during the meeting, click the "Messages" tab and you'll see the timeline of the conversation.

Click the "Captions" tab and you'll find the captions of each slide and the text messages that were sent during the meeting.

You can preview recordings before you save them.

Your meetings and recordings are saved in your Google Drive, which you can access on any device.
