MediumGPT is a subscription-based web application designed to enhance interactions with Medium's content through the integration of ChatGPT plugins. This innovative solution addresses the limitations of ChatGPT's initial dataset by enabling real-time access to Medium's articles and posts. By utilizing an ai-plugin.json file and an OpenAPI YAML file, MediumGPT allows users to retrieve specific content based on their queries, whether it be trending articles or detailed post summaries. The plugin facilitates a more dynamic experience, enabling automated content retrieval and interaction with up-to-date information on the Medium platform.

Currently in private alpha, MediumGPT showcases its capabilities through a technical proof of concept that demonstrates how to build and utilize plugins effectively. The service, which is implemented using the Go programming language, converts hardcoded GraphQL queries into REST APIs, allowing for complex and natural query handling. Users can leverage the plugin to access a wealth of information, making it a valuable tool for freelance writers, social media managers, and content creators looking to optimize their engagement with Medium's resources.
