Matrículas españolas is an Android application developed by Vázquez Software that allows you to search for any Spanish license plate of cars, motorcycles, vans, or trucks to know their registration date and environmental badge or sticker. This app is particularly useful for those living in cities such as Madrid, where it is important to know the environmental badge to be able to circulate on days of restriction due to pollution. It is also helpful when buying a second-hand car.

The app does not represent any official entity and collects information on environmental labels from the public and free website of the DGT. Matrículas españolas also allows you to store the data of license plates that you want to consult later and add additional data such as the color of the car, kilometers, or other data of interest. You can even export the license plates to an Excel sheet to consult or manipulate them from a PC. The app also offers a couple of direct links to websites of interest to find out fuel prices and the state of the roads.
