A virtual exhibition on the history of the Malabar rebellion. It is an initiative by SIO Kerala, the Kerala chapter of Students Islamic Organisation of India. SIO Kerala is the premier organisation in India that promotes the idea of a peaceful and democratic India, where all forms of power and domination are eliminated. It is an idea that is not only presented in the academic arena, but also in the virtual world. Mappila Haal is an online exhibition that brings together all the major events of the rebellion, including the formation of the Muslim community and its anti-colonial genesis. The exhibition also includes five different exhibitions, which are a reflection of the various phases of the rebellion. It will be presented through a variety of media, including graphic novels, documentaries and podcasts.
