MAP note - GIS data collection is a free Android application developed by ThSoft Co.Ltd, designed to help civil engineers, surveyors, and topographers in their work. The app is a simple notepad that can save location information, export to CSV, KML, and DXF files. It allows users to share a note or file via email, Google Drive, or Skype.

This app is a useful tool for surveyors as it displays the saved location on a map, and the details screen shows saved time, GPS error, spatial reference system, latitude, longitude, azimuth, altitude. Users can overwrite the location many times, and edit, delete and find notes easily with large buttons. Furthermore, the app allows users to add notes on the Google map and capture a picture and store it in notes.

The app supports geodetic coordinates/UTM with various systems such as WGS1984, WGS1972, NAD1983/1927, VN2000, Austria NS, Belgium 50, Nouv Trig de France 1, and all of WGS84 central meridian. The premium version offers additional features such as exporting note lists to CSV, DXF, and KML files, sharing via email, Google Drive, and Skype without ads.
