Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 was a scheduled international passenger flight that went missing on March 8th, 2014. The Boeing 777-200ER aircraft was en route from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to Beijing Capital International Airport when it disappeared. The crew last communicated with air traffic control around 38 minutes after takeoff, and the aircraft was lost from radar screens shortly after. However, it was tracked by military radar for another hour, deviating from its planned flight path.

This tragic incident resulted in the presumed death of all 227 passengers and 12 crew members on board. The disappearance of Flight 370 remains one of the deadliest incidents involving a Boeing 777 and the deadliest in the history of Malaysia Airlines.
