It’s common for websites to use light and thin  text on a white background. This combination creates a kind of a contrast in which the text is easily visible, but the background is not. It can cause eye strain and even give you a headache.

If you’re using Google Chrome, you can try making the text black by changing its color, size, or font. However, you can’t change the background color, and it won’t help you with text that’s on a white background.

So, if you’re trying to read a website or an email, you’re going to have to choose a font that’s similar to the font used in the website.
