Mailscan is a Chrome extension developed by mailscan.me that provides real-time email tracking for Yandex Mail. With Mailscan, you can find out when recipients open your emails and click on links within them.

Simply send emails from your Yandex Mail to any email address and receive notifications about read receipts and clicks. You can also view analytics on email opens and clicks in your personal dashboard.

Installing Mailscan is easy. Just add the extension to your Chrome browser and continue sending emails as usual. Once installed, you will see the Mailscan button in your Yandex Mail and green checkmarks in the Sent folder. Similar to popular messaging apps, one green checkmark indicates that the email has not been read, while two green checkmarks indicate that the email has been read.

In addition to the checkmarks, Mailscan sends you email notifications when a recipient reads your email or clicks on a link. You can even track if a recipient downloads an attachment by uploading the file to a cloud storage service like Yandex Disk and including the link in the email.

Mailscan also notifies you when a recipient opens an old email that is more than two weeks old. This can be particularly useful for commercial offers, as it may indicate that the recipient is revisiting your proposal and could be contacted immediately.

Furthermore, Mailscan provides notifications for active email opens. If a recipient repeatedly opens the email multiple times within a span of five minutes, it could mean that they are interested in the content or have forwarded the email to colleagues.
