This is a little Chrome extension for those of you who use Facebook Messenger. It uses a built-in library that lets you quickly open a conversation and begin typing without having to open Facebook's main page. You can use it with any browser that supports the omnibox, but I have it installed on Chrome and Firefox so I can do some quick typing in those browsers.

The extension uses a service API to get the current url of the browser and then it uses the omnibox to open that url in Messenger. It stores your message history for later use and will automatically load your previous conversations when you start typing. It can suggest a few messages for you and you can easily close a conversation or tab by clicking on the title of the window.

You can also send a message with the emoji button and it will send a copy of the message to your chat history so you can remember the conversation later.

You can also set it to automatically send you a message when you have an unread message in your inbox. It's really handy for those of us who spend hours every day trying to stay on top of our Facebook chat.
