In the year 1755, when the holy city of God, Bhaktiraj, was still in the hands of the Muslims, a young man from a poor family stood up and declared that he was the only son of God and that the whole city should worship him. The people were amazed and believed him. That young man was the famous Bhagat Jibon. He was the guru of the BAPS and the pioneer of the Sanatan Dharma in the city of Bhaktiraj. He had the strength and the courage to carry out his mission and for the sake of God. He had the wisdom to know that in the beginning, God is within us and we cannot see him. He knew that the first step to enlightening the world is to understand the nature of God and the universe. He was the pioneer of Vedic science and the founder of the Vedic way of life. He introduced the Vedic philosophy of science, which consists of the knowledge of the nature of the universe and the living organisms, and the Vedic way of life, which consists of a specific set of practices and a specific way of life.
