Lost Person Behavior is an Android app developed by dbS Productions that serves as the international gold standard reference tool for Search and Rescue (SAR) operations. The app is designed to assist Public Safety Officials in locating missing persons based on the subject's category and provides life-saving information customized for 41 different subject categories. The app does not require a network connection and can work in remote locations.

The app guides the user to select the correct subject category through a wizard that suggests the best match for the subject category. Once the subject category is selected, the app provides the user with behavioral profiles, tactical briefings, specific investigative questions, spatial and survival statistics, and suggestions for initial tasks. The app even allows the user to email a checklist of these critical tasks and interview questions for remote support or documentation purposes.

The app's statistics provide the search planner with information on where similar previous search subjects were found, including distance from the initial planning point, elevation model, mobility model, dispersion angle, track offset model, find location, scenario, survivability overall, and survivability rate. The app is customizable to show only the statistical information needed and provides additional helpful tools, including contextual help, information boxes, a glossary, and contact information.
