The first tab of Looker Studio Companion offers frequently needed resources for Looker Studio users, including a functions reference for building calculated fields, a regex checker for testing regular expressions, a date formats reference, a library of Unicode characters, an icon library, and more. It also provides links to Looker Studio help, a Slack channel dedicated to Looker Studio, LS bug trackers, Looker Studio release notes, and the Google Cloud Services Status.

The second tab focuses on data sources and allows users to manage fields effectively. Users can load their data source fields, filter them, and enable or disable them in bulk. The tab includes a dropdown menu to select a report data source, a field filter, bulk actions for enabling or disabling fields, and a list of fields with a count summary of dimensions and metrics.

The third tab provides two options for customization. Users can choose to widen the chart formula field to have more space for writing calculated fields. Additionally, there is an option to obfuscate the text content of Looker Studio, including reports, to hide confidential data. This feature allows users to take snapshots, store designs in portfolios, or present live reports publicly without revealing sensitive information.
