The Allgemeines Funkbetriebszeugnis (Long-Range Certificate) is a German licence required to operate GMDSS radio stations on board of pleasure crafts. It is valid for all ships with a call sign, whose service area covers more than 500 km2.

You have to pass the test five times with a minimum score of 60%. If you get the required score, you can participate in the maritime mobile service and the maritime mobile-satellite service.

You have to use the test questions in the German language. Therefore, the questions in this application are also German.

The Long-Range Certificate is a training tool for the questions that are to be found in the written test. The app calculates the number of correct answers and subtracts them from the total score. Thus, the app ensures that you learn the questions effectually.
