Your browser’s history is a valuable asset. We believe that you should have the ability to preserve it safely and manage it in an organized way. That’s why we’re introducing the Log Web History to Firebase program to your browser.

With it, you can now upload all the URLs you’ve visited in the past 90 days to Google Cloud Firestore. The extensions you use on your devices record the history locally, but they do not have a means to upload the data to Cloud Firestore. With Log Web History to Firebase, your data will always be uploaded to your own personal Firebase database.

The log is the only history data you’ll need to export to BigQuery in case you would need it for analysis. That makes it convenient to download and organize the data. You can also use it to track the history of all devices that use your Google account, even when you’re using a different browser.

Log Web History to Firebase doesn’t collect any personal data and won’t impact your privacy. We believe that every person should have the freedom to manage and view their own data securely.
