Teach AI Without Writing A Single Line Of Code.

Lobe is a graphical piece of software that hooks into AIs, particularly text and image recognition "neural networks", and lets you teach them using a highly graphical, well-designed interface that doesn't demand any coding from the end user.

Simple and somewhat powerful

Lobe uses a card-based interface, with the cards called "lobes", to let the user train AI by dragging-and-dropping different concepts or bits of information throughout the window. Coding, on its own, isn't really an option: Lobe doesn't have a lot of high-end, large-scale functions, but its functionality can (and for some users, must) be expanded by downloading and using "libraries", plugins which include different Lobe functions.

Use your brain, improve an AI's

Overall, if you're looking to teach an AI about the contents of different images, you can shape them very excellently with Lobe, and you don't need advanced technical skills. Just the software, the images and a workstation with a hi-res monitor is enough. A lower-resolution tablet still runs the software, but serious AI designers should definitely consider using 1080p at the very least.

  • Pros

    • No coding required
    • Great for small and medium scales
    • Functionality-extending libraries
  • Cons

    • Painful at low resolutions
    • Few advanced functions
    • Uncertain high-end scaling
    • Libraries can cause lag
