For over 40 years, Lo Saldes has been a staple on the tables of thousands of Chilean families with its artisanal and fresh products, showcasing traditional recipes and preparations. Today, Lo Saldes is one of the most renowned bakeries in the country.

All their products are crafted by their artisans in a natural way, without the use of preservatives, substitutes, or artificial colors, and with carefully selected high-quality ingredients.

Lo Saldes originated when Lino Méndez traveled from Spain to Chile with some of his brothers to work in a small bread stall in Gamero, in the Independencia commune. After learning the trade, Méndez purchased the rights to a bakery located on the corner of Av. Presidente Kennedy and Las Tranqueras in Las Condes in 1975, giving life to the first Lo Saldes branch. The name Lo Saldes comes from a farm that previously occupied the land where the current Av. Kennedy stands.

Today, the family-owned bakery has eight stores located in the eastern sector of Santiago, in addition to online sales through their ecommerce channel. Their loyal customers are welcomed into a warm, cozy, and friendly environment that demonstrates a constant pursuit of innovation while never forgetting their cherished traditions.
