LKW-Abfahrtskontrolle is a free app developed by TIS GmbH to assist truck drivers in their daily routine. This app makes it easy for drivers to perform the mandatory pre-departure check by allowing them to take photos of any damages found on the vehicle and send them to the fleet manager.

With just four clicks and a signature, drivers can log a fault-free pre-departure check. The app also provides explanations for each inspection point based on the DGUV principle, which is kindly provided by the professional association for transport and logistics, BG Verkehr.

The app generates a PDF document with the results of the inspection and the driver's signature, which is automatically sent to pre-set email addresses for archiving. These PDF documents serve as proof of the completed inspection and can be accessed at any time. The app requires access to the phone, GPS, and camera for optimal use.
