Liangzhu is a Pre-Pottery Bronze Age culture in the Yangtze River Delta of southern China. It was one of the most advanced cultures of the ancient world.

It was a long-lasting civilization, with many buildings that still exist today. They built many large cities, including one that was as large as modern Beijing.

They made many elaborate weapons and tools, including the world's first silk, which they used for the weaving of clothes and tools. They also made an impressive number of jade statues, some of which were carved into the shape of animals and others that were carved into the shape of plants.
