LiveMap: GPS Map Camera Geotag, developed by CS Tech .JSC, is an Android utility that embeds geographic context into photos and videos for documentation and travel records. The app places a live map overlay in the camera interface and writes coordinates, addresses, timestamps, weather, and compass data onto captures. It offers customizable templates, multiple map views, and gallery import options. The target users include travelers, vloggers, real estate and field professionals who need location-rich visual evidence.

What kinds of field evidence does LiveMap target?

LiveMap aims at documented captures for reporting and diaries, positioning itself for on-site records and travel logs. The app advertises "proof-worthy" photos with tamper-proof timestamps and provides advanced templates for business use. It also records environmental metrics beyond basic GPS, including altitude and magnetic field measurements, and supports both photo and video geotagging plus importing existing gallery images for retrospective tagging.

How accurate and dependable is the app's location stamping?

Location stamping includes latitude, longitude and altitude plus automatic address lookup, which the developer presents as street-level accuracy when GPS is available. The recorded precision therefore depends on the device's satellite reception and local signal conditions because the app requires active GPS. Users should expect address fetching and coordinate display to reflect the device's real-world GPS performance.

Which devices and permissions does LiveMap require?

LiveMap runs on Android and requires location services and camera permissions for full operation, as stated in the requirements. The app offers multiple map types for overlays, such as Normal, Satellite, Terrain and Hybrid, and performs tagging locally when capturing or importing images. No device modification is listed as necessary in the app notes.

Who benefits most and what practical limits apply?

Field professionals and content creators gain the most value, with targeted use cases including site surveys, property listings and travel logging. The app is presented as useful for verified documentation, but users are responsible for ensuring their use complies with platform terms and local regulations. The product is reported as generally well-received for customization and ease of use in professional contexts.

LiveMap is a practical choice for location-focused documentation

The app suits Android users who need embedded, time-stamped visual records and customizable reporting templates; it fits people who accept device-dependent GPS limits and the need to follow platform terms and legal requirements. For teams that require on-device metadata and straightforward exportable images, the tool performs as a focused capture solution that supports field reporting workflows.
