LiUNA Local 1059 represents approximately 5,000 construction and advanced manufacturing sector employees in Grey, Bruce, Middlesex, Oxford, Huron, Elgin, and Perth counties and beyond. They represent their members by negotiating collective employment agreements for various workplace conditions such as workplace health and safety, decent compensation, extra hours, and benefits and retirement.  They are committed to ensuring that its members' needs and preferences are met, for keeping them safe, professionally trained, and employable, and for providing them with fair wages, benefit coverage, and job opportunities.
