This app allows users to participate in the Church's prayer of the Liturgy of the Hours, which is the exercise of the priestly function of Christ and the sanctification of men. The Liturgy of the Hours is the prayer of the Church to Christ and with Christ, and it includes the Office of Readings, Morning Prayer (Lauds), Daytime Prayer (Terce, Sext, and None), Evening Prayer (Vespers), and Night Prayer (Compline). The app features the official text of the Liturgy of the Hours and the Roman Missal of the Portuguese Episcopal Conference.
