This app allows users to access Alexa's functionalities, such as factual lookups and unit conversions, directly from their Android devices, including support for Android Wear 2.0. Users can enhance their experience by signing in and adding custom skills via the Alexa Companion app or the web interface.

While the app provides essential features right out of the box, it does come with some limitations. Users must enable an always-on mode from the launch screen to keep the app accessible, and it can be found in the persistent notification area. Currently, the app has been tested on nVidia Shield TV for Android TV, but it is not compatible with Nexus Player. More features are anticipated in future updates.
