Liftoff®: Micro Drones is a premium simulation PC game by developer LuGus Studios. It is an immersive first-person view(FPV) drone simulator experience that lets players pilot micro-class drones across diverse locations and environments in impressive detail and level of control. It also offers multiple single and multiplayer modes to choose depending on how they want to play. 

Aerial playground 

As its name suggests, Liftoff®: Micro Drones will let you experience what it’s like to pilot and fly around in micro-class drones from a first-person point of view. Pick from both indoor and outdoor maps to explore, each offering impressive visuals and detail to add to the immersion and realism. From urban streets to home garages and even sea vessels, there’s a large playground to zip and loop through. 

What’s more, the game comes with its own drone and track editors to let you customize your kit and design a custom track that you can share with others in the community. Having said all that, the actual gameplay needs more work, particularly with the controls that feel floaty and imprecise. Then, there are the map choices that are limited. 

A decent effort 

To sum up, Liftoff®: Micro Drones is a decent drone simulator that you can try for practice and get a feel for flying micro drones in a simulated environment. However, the controls need more tuning, and there needs to be more maps to choose from. It’s worth checking out, but the could be a lot better with more updates.
