Life is Strange: True Colors is an adventure game developed by Deck Nine and published by Square Enix. It stars an Asian-American girl named Alex Chen. Using her psychic power of empathy, she must uncover the reason behind her brother's death.

True Colors is the fifth installment in the Life is Strange series. It’s also the third mainline title after Life is Strange 2. As with its predecessors, it is a choice-driven story that is like an interactive game. However, this time players won't have to wait for the next episodes as the whole story is available in one release.

What is the game about?

Life is Strange: True Colors follows Alex Chen, a young woman who's just left the foster care system. You will first meet her when she reunites with her brother Gabe at Haven Springs. However, the reunion will not last long as Gabe will die under mysterious circumstances. Filled with grief, Alex will set out to uncover the truth.

Like the leading characters in the previous Life is Strange titles, Alex will have a supernatural power that plays a vital part in the story. This time, she can absorb the emotions of others. Alex must embrace this emphatic ability to know the truth. She must build trust with the townsfolk and change their fate using her power.

As mentioned, True Colors will have the whole story available, unlike the other titles in the franchise. With this, you don't have to wait long for the next episode. It also gives you the freedom to roam the entire map of Haven Springs and interact with non-playable characters.
