Librus, by Librus spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością spk, is a mobile companion for schools using the Librus Synergia gradebook, intended to keep families connected to school operations. The app delivers real-time school records, a messaging channel, and timetable access tailored for mobile use, plus optional mobile add-ons for instant alerts and expanded messaging. It targets parents and primary or secondary students in Poland, offering consolidated school information, multi-student account handling, and controls for limiting overnight notifications.

What role does Librus play in everyday school administration?

Librus functions as a mobile extension of an electronic gradebook, concentrating administrative information a family needs for day-to-day school life. It provides a Timeline feed and a School Calendar that places announcements, exams, and events in chronological order, and a Homework module that records assignments and deadlines, so the app acts primarily as an information hub rather than a content-delivery classroom tool. That positioning suits families focused on organisational oversight.

Is Librus appropriate for parents and school-aged children?

The app is aimed at parents and pupils in primary and secondary schools, and an active Synergia account issued by the school is required to use it. Librus supports Multikonto so a single parent can switch between multiple student profiles, and it runs on iPhone with iOS 15.0 or later, plus iPad and Apple Silicon Mac support. Offline access lets previously synced records remain readable without a network connection.

How does Librus present progress, attendance, and teacher communication?

Progress and presence data are surfaced through a dedicated Assessment module and an Attendance tracker that records absences and tardiness, while the Timetable shows substitutions and schedule updates. Communication channels exist inside the app, but instant push alerts and the internal messaging system require activation through the Mobile Add-ons or SMART plan, which affects whether parents receive immediate feedback from teachers.

Can families tailor the app to reduce interruptions and surface essentials?

Parents can customise a Desk view that aggregates critical items for each day, and Librus Calm Night schedules notification silences during typical sleeping hours to reduce late-night alerts. The Timeline groups recent items into a single chronological feed, and the School Calendar integrates events and exams. These personalization and notification controls help families shape the app around their household routines.

Librus is a practical coordination tool for families connected to Synergia

Librus suits parents and students who need a single place to monitor school administration and event timing, provided their school issues the required Synergia account. The app supports multi-student households and offline review, though its timeliness for messages and instant alerts depends on whether a school's Mobile Add-ons or SMART plan is enabled. For households that prioritise administrative visibility, Librus is a pragmatic choice that depends on school-side configuration.
