LED Notifications is a Chrome extension that turns the LED indicator on your webcam into an out-of-screen visual cue.

The extension can be used to check for unread notifications from social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Google Hangouts, as well as from other services like Gmail, Quora, Linkedin, and others.

When an unread notification is found in any open tab, the webcam is turned on & off periodically. The extension keeps track of which tabs are open, so you can find the browser with the notification.

The extension automatically detects all the sites that have an unread notification and checks the notifications for you. It also turns the indicator light on the webcam off periodically when no notification is found.
