Lazors is a mind-teasing puzzle game for Android in which you need to divert the path of a lazer to a specific point using blocks.

What is Lazors about?

The concept of Lazors is pretty simple to grasp. A beam of light emits from a point on the screen and you must divert it so it hits the target or targets (marked by small circles). You do this by arranging the available blocks in such a way that the light beam is deflected to the target.

Once you've got the laser beam to hit the target you can move onto the next level. There are 150 levels in Lazors, divided into different types (for example, tutorial, friendly, mad, tiny, crossed, and diagonal). The first tutorial levels are pretty tame but the puzzles soon get very complex and it will really test your knowledge of angles and powers of logic (unless you just get lucky!)

To help you out with the puzzles in Lazors, there are hints available that suggest where to place a particular block. You start with five hints and can purchase more in-app if you need to.

How to play Lazors

The touch interface of Lazors make it easy to play. To move a block you simply hold and drag it to a free space before releasing it to set it down. The beam of light will automatically redirect based on the new angle it's directed at.

The tutorial levels give you enough time to practice, but it's very simple to work with.

How does it look?

Lazors features a simple yet elegant design with some smart rendering of the blocks and a bright, realistic light beam. The only thing missing is a bit of variety within the backgrounds. Every level has the same gray background which, while attractive, gets boring to look at after a while.

The verdict

Lazors is an infectious game that is great for whiling away some time. There are lots of levels, though it won't take you that long to finish them all given that you can make as many moves as you like on each one.
