In the Holy Quran, God has revealed to His Prophet, Muhammad, a number of Ayahs or verses that are now known as Hadith. These verses and this message from God are the primary source of Islamic beliefs, beliefs in Islam, and the religious laws and practices in Islam. These beliefs and practices are known as the Sunnah of Muhammad and are considered by Muslims to be the most important source of Islamic law and practice.

Islam teaches that the Quran is the primary source of Islamic laws and beliefs. Islam also teaches that the prophet is the messenger of God, and that Muhammad is the messenger of God.
