With the guidance of Marie Kondo and adorable Mononoke companions, the girl helps others overcome their challenges by sharing her joy and assisting them in finding tidiness-induced happiness.

KonMari Spark Joy offers two types of puzzle games: Yin and Yang. The "Yin" puzzles provide a Zen-like experience, allowing players to clear their minds through garden puzzles. On the other hand, the "Yang" puzzles involve moving colorful cubes to form specific shapes while eliminating unnecessary blocks.

To enhance the gaming experience, the game features a beautiful soundtrack with uplifting music for the "Yang" puzzles and soothing melodies for the "Yin" puzzles. Using headphones is recommended for an immersive audio experience.

Additionally, there is an optional side story told from a young boy's perspective, which can be purchased separately.
