A free and smart hub for game collectors
Kolektor is a free utility and tool app designed to provide gamers with a place to manage their entire library. It functions as a unified launcher that pulls your installed titles from all major PC platforms, without requiring a complex setup that appeals to players frustrated by juggling multiple launchers.
Kolektor’s mission extends beyond launch functionality. Its development team aims to build a comprehensive collection manager that brings both digital and physical games together under one roof—a capability few tools currently offer. As the platform remains in Early Access, additional features have not yet been announced.
Great for game enthusiasts
Kolektor’s core strength lies in simplicity. Once installed, it scans and displays games across Steam, Epic Games Launcher, GOG Galaxy, Ubisoft Connect, EA, Xbox, and Battle.net, letting you start any title with a single click. The interface of this platform is clean, fast, and built for quick browsing and launching—ideal for users who value convenience over tinkering with technical setups.
The tool automatically fetches cover art and organizes games in a unified library, eliminating the need to open separate clients for each platform. This “one-app-to-rule-them-all” approach removes a common frustration for multi-platform gamers. Beyond launching games, it integrates basic collection tracking features and a backlog viewer, giving you a clearer picture of what you own and what you’ve yet to play.
Plans for richer metadata, wishlist management, and tagging promise even deeper organization tools in future updates. However, fully cataloging physical games and scanning barcodes is not available yet—these features are slated for the upcoming Premium tier. It leaves collectors with large shelves or retro libraries still juggling separate tools. Also, take note that this platform is still in active development.
A worth trying gaming platform
Kolektor’s free launcher is an excellent start for anyone overwhelmed by multiple game clients. With intuitive detection, a polished UI, and community-driven updates, it simplifies library management of a collection of games. The promise of future Premium features— especially unified physical/digital cataloging—could make it indispensable for serious collectors once released. It's a must-try platform that every game enthusiast should try.
