KnowRoute is a new public transportation app that uses AI to match routes with passenger demand. Available on Android, this free app lets you book a ride by simply setting your origin and destination when you're in the KnowRoute service area. KnowRoute will then pick you up at a nearby bus stop and drop you off at a bus stop close to your destination. This new type of public transportation is perfect for those who want to make their daily commute more efficient.

Currently, KnowRoute is available in Island City area, Higashi ward, Fukuoka City, and Iki-minami area, Nishi ward, Fukuoka City. From Nov. 1st to 30th, 2020, KnowRoute is also available in Takaide, Kikyogahara, and Daimon areas, Shiojiri City, Nagano prefecture. The app offers a cash-free experience, allowing you to pay with credit card or IC card. You can also share your ride with minimal detours to arrive at your destination quickly.
