Klistapka Klíšťapka is a new mobile app designed to provide information on the presence of ticks in forested areas and the associated risks of Lyme disease. Developed by scientists from the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences and the Faculty of Economics and Management at the Czech University of Life Sciences in collaboration with Lesy ČR, the State Health Institute, the Faculty of Science at Palacký University in Olomouc, the Czech Forestry Society, and the Research Institute of Forestry and Game Management, this free app provides users with data on tick occurrence based on information from the Institute of Forest Management in Brandýs nad Labem, Czech Republic.
