Kinetic is a premium racing-like PC game from developer Lowraiz Games. It’s a first-person precision platformer inspired by speedrunning in mind. It offers a fast and engaging experience with multiple stages that involve transitioning gameplay mechanics in different ways, while trying to reach the finish line as fast as possible.

Wall to wall

There are three stages in Kinetic that each have a unique gameplay mechanic, starting with Concrete Dimension, in which you employ parkour moves. Meanwhile, Ice Dimension allows you to glide on glistening surfaces. The last one is called Bounce Dimension, and it’s where you bounce off walls and ceilings.

You can freely jump between stages using portals once you’ve unlocked them all. Compete with other players for the fastest times on the global leaderboard. Now, the controls are smooth and intuitive, but as is typical with these games, there’s a steep difficulty curve that some players might find hard.

Kinetic is a fantastic precision platformer full of thrills that any fan of the genre can enjoy. It’s easy to learn and get into, but once you do, you realize the depth and challenge it poses. Each stage requires a different gameplay style, forcing you to adapt quickly.
