Kibana Search is a Chrome extension developed by John Layton that enhances the keyword filtering capabilities of Kibana, a popular log analysis and visualization platform. When typing into the Omnibox, the extension queries the Kibana API for suggestions based on the configured settings. Users can select a suggestion or continue typing. Upon hitting the Return key, the current tab will navigate to the Discovery tab of the Kibana UI at the configured URL.
