Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth is an adventure game developed by Daedalic Entertainment for Xbox One. The game is based on the world-bestseller novel and retells the story of Kingsbridge in an interactive way. The player takes on the roles of Jack, Aliena, and Philip and can change the events of the book through exploration, decision-making, and dialogues.

The game is set in 12th century England, during a time of great poverty and war. A small town begins the construction of a cathedral to claim wealth and security for its people. The lives and destinies of Philip the monk, a boy called Jack, and disgraced noblewoman Aliena intertwine as they struggle to survive. Philip becomes prior of the small abbey of Kingsbridge, while Jack's apprenticeship as a stonemason paves his way to become a gifted master builder. Together with Aliena, they begin the construction of one of the greatest cathedrals England will ever see. The game features beautiful graphics, an engaging storyline, and challenging puzzles.
