Kassenautomat is a free Android app developed by Scheidt Bachmann Parking Solutions GmbH under the Travel & Navigation category. This app offers a new way to pay for parking without the need to queue at a physical kiosk. Users can pull a parking ticket or use their license plate to enter the parking facility, and when they are ready to leave, they can simply scan the ticket or enter their license plate number into the app. The app then calculates the fee, and users can pay via PayPal or credit card. Kassenautomat also provides information on available parking spaces, stores parking history, and allows users to purchase prepaid tickets. The app is currently available in selected parking facilities in Bern, Bochum, Düsseldorf, Hannover, Mettmann, München, Mönchengladbach, Straubing, and Velbert, with more locations to come soon.
