Kashmir Flood Watch is an IoT-based mobile application developed by the National Informatics Centre. It offers real-time monitoring of water levels in River Jehlum and its tributaries. Utilizing Radar Level Sensor technology, the app provides automatic water level recordings on an hourly basis. By employing pulse radar technology, the app calculates water levels accurately by conducting multiple measurements per second. The data collected can be analyzed for flood warning information and decision-making processes, aiding in flood control and risk management.

The app, designed by the Irrigation & Flood Control Department Kashmir, aims to provide crucial data for sustainable water resource management. With 13 network stations offering real-time water level and rainfall data, it enhances the hydro-meteorological monitoring capabilities in the region.
