Karnataka Crop Survey - 2019 is a project funded by the government of Karnataka. The main objective of the project is to obtain accurate, up-to-date information about the crops grown in the state, the type of irrigation used, and the extent of land prepared for the crop. This will be done by collecting information from the farmers and then collating the data in a single database. The information will be used by various government departments and other agents in the ecosystem to make decisions that affect the farmers, such as providing them with loans and other financial assistance, making the purchase of seeds and pesticides, and more.
