Test your limits against other kung-fu warriors
Karate King Fight: Offline Kung Fu Fighting Games is a free arcade fighting game developed by Fighting Sports. You will play as a highly skilled kung-fu warrior who endlessly fights against enemies with increasing difficulties. Choose between many unique characters, each with a different special moves and fighting style.
Karate King Fight: Offline Kung Fu Fighting Games’ graphics are reminiscent of the early 90s, with a focus on quick combo moves and side scroll movements. The game’s characters are heavily inspired by anime and other popular names from that era. The level design also borrows some elements from existing titles.
There are six attacks you can do in Karate King Fight: Offline Kung Fu Fighting Games. Basic punches, kicks, grapples, and tackles are available — while power attacks and rage take time to recharge and can be only used once the gauge is filled. There’s also a D-pad on the left side for your basic movements such as walking and jumping. Depending on your choice of character, special skills can be more powerful.
The controls are directly lifted from existing fighting games, eliminating any learning curve needed to master them. However, the graphics were very unpolished and can glitch at times. There are better fighting games with exceptional graphics compared to this. Still, if you’re just looking for a beat-em-up game to kill time and you’re not picky with the graphics, this is the one.
As for the game responsiveness, this game is fluid — launch quick attacks, dodge, and regroup with ease — due to its low system requirements. Even older devices will run this with no problems. The story is practically non-existent and the soundtrack is slim, so prepare for repeated music. There’s also no room for character customizations here. The game mode is only endless, so there’s no conclusion to a story if there’s one.
Karate King Fight: Offline Kung Fu Fighting Games is a good game with fluid controls and movements, elevated with a wide selection of characters, it can run on lower-spec devices with no problems. Its endless-level design ensures some levels of replayability. However, the unpolished graphics, no customizations, and janky soundtrack may be off-putting to some. If you can look past that, this is a good fighting game for killing time.
