Kanban WIP for Trello is an extension for the Google Chrome web browser. It allows users to add work-in-progress limits to their Trello lists which support a Kanban workflow. Users simply add the limit to a list title in brackets. For example, naming a list “Test [5]” sets a work-in-progress, or WIP, limit of 5 items to the “Test” list. When the number of items in the list exceeds that number, the list will become highlighted red. Kanban WIP is a simple and effective tool for users of Trello and when combined with others, it helps to make Trello even more useful.
