kanaphone is a simple, lightweight extension for Google Chrome and Firefox that lets you easily add hiragana and katakana to your browser. Once you install it, you can simply tap the button on the settings screen to enable the extension for your current page.

This extension is a must-have for anyone who wants to learn Japanese or want to have a Japanese-language keyboard for their browser. The reason is simple: it gives you the ability to type Japanese words in the browser, even though you don't have a Japanese keyboard installed on your device.

The extension also gives you the option to disable it for a page or all pages. If you want to disable it for a page, just click the button in the settings screen for that page.
