JustTTS is a Chrome extension developed by zhigang.wang that serves as a helpful tool for language learning. Specifically designed for those learning Chinese, this extension allows users to select any text within the Chrome browser and listen to its pronunciation.

With JustTTS, users can simply select the desired text and click on the extension icon to hear the text being read aloud. This feature is particularly useful for individuals who are trying to improve their Chinese pronunciation or comprehension skills.

In addition to the basic functionality, JustTTS also offers an Extension Options page where users can customize the language and speed of the text-to-speech feature. However, it is worth noting that if you are using Chrome OS 67, Chinese and Japanese languages are not available. Chrome OS does, however, provide the option to select additional voices.

JustTTS has a few known issues, but the developer has been actively working on resolving them. The update log showcases the developer's efforts to enhance the extension's performance and address any bugs that may arise.

Overall, JustTTS is a handy tool for language learners, especially those focusing on Chinese. It provides a convenient way to listen to selected text within the Chrome browser, making language learning more accessible and engaging.
