Battlefield Flip Chess is a close combat game that utilizes Bluetooth or Wi-Fi for battles. Players engage in battles by creating or joining game rooms in close proximity, immersing themselves in the strategic gameplay of Flip Chess.

In Flip Chess, the movement routes consist of highways and railways. Chess pieces on highways can only move one step, while on railways, engineers can move freely if there are no obstacles. Other pieces on railways can only move straight without turning. Mines and flags are immobile. Camps (represented by dashed circles) are safe zones where opponent pieces cannot capture each other.

Engineers can defuse (capture) mines, while other pieces cannot (bombs can explode mines). The hierarchy of pieces from highest to lowest is General > Colonel > Major > Lieutenant Colonel > Major > Captain > Sergeant > Engineer > Flag. Bombs eliminate themselves along with any other piece (including mines).

The victory conditions in Flip Chess involve either capturing all of the opponent's mobile pieces or using engineers or bombs to defuse mines and then capturing the opponent's flag.
