Joy Awards is a free iPhone app developed by MBC Group in the Lifestyle category. This app allows fans to nominate and vote for their favorite stars and releases in various categories such as Music, Cinema, Series, Sports, and Influencers.

The app consists of two phases. In the first phase, users can nominate their favorite stars and releases for a period of one month. Users can choose from the names or titles listed in each category, and if their top pick is not there, they have the option to add their own favorite as long as it meets the terms and conditions. This phase leads to the selection of the top four final nominees in each category.

In the second phase, which also lasts for one month, users can vote for their favorite nominees among the top four in each category. The voting counts are gathered and the winners are revealed during the live "Joy Awards 2024" ceremony in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
