Jitan Translate Meeting Audio is a Chrome extension designed to enhance online meetings by enabling translated speech audio through the Jitan Translate desktop app. This extension seamlessly connects with popular meeting platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom Web App, and Microsoft Teams Web, allowing users to integrate translated audio directly into their meetings. By activating the read-aloud feature in the desktop app, users can route finalized translated speech as microphone audio, ensuring effective communication across language barriers.

This extension does not function as a standalone translator or provide speech recognition capabilities; these features are managed by the Jitan Translate desktop app. Importantly, it prioritizes user privacy by not collecting personal data or transmitting meeting content to third-party services. Instead, it handles only essential technical information for audio routing, making it a secure tool for enhancing virtual meetings.
