Jewelsnake is essentially a top-down color-matching game. A series of crystalline scarabs are placed within a predetermined path. The goal is to match at least three of the same color with an additional scarab that is provided to the player. When three or more are placed together, they will disappear; slowing down the progression of the "snake". If the head of this snake reaches the exit, the player will lose. Each board is associated with a different path and the number of scarabs will increase as one improves.
