Instead of the game's original bright and saturated design, this mod desaturates the colors to give it a more gritty vibe. It also adjusts the contrast to give everything a more contemporary, film-like appearance.

To provide a greater dynamic range to the luma values, this preset basically stretches out the gamma curve with adjusted black and white points while also modifying the lights and darks. Gamma is set to maximum in-game and sharpness and bloom are both turned on. If you're into it and willing to deal with the frame rate hit, you could attempt a vignette.
