During the course of the investigation, the player finds a number of strange items, which he collects and uses in order to learn more about the house and the crimes that have taken place in it. He also has to keep an eye out for the murderer, who is always trying to attack him. The game has a number of different locations, including the home, the garage, and the backyard. The player can use a variety of objects at each of these locations to discover additional information about the house and the crimes that have occurred there.
